Familiarize yourself with the case background here. The Court passed its judgement on July 17th. It is currently reviewing the execution of its order, which requested all States and Union Territories to take steps to halt mob vigilantism.
The previous hearing was also adjourned. All States and Union Territories were supposed to have submitted their compliance reports. However, only eleven reports were submitted to the Court. The Bench gave all States and Union Territories until today, the 13th, to submit their reports. Further, the Bench stated that further failures to submit reports would result in relevant Home Secretaries being called up.
