Cancellation of Board Exams
On May 31st, the Attorney General appeared on behalf of the Union. He requested time to make a decision. The bench informed him that they can make the decision, but they must provide good reason if they depart from the decision taken last year. Last year’s decision was a result of deliberation. The matter will be heard again on Thursday June 3rd.
The Prime Minister announced that CBSE exams for Class 12 were cancelled on June 1st. ICSE followed the decision.
