Dipak Misra CJI reduced the number of pending cases before the Supreme Court by an average of 1064.75 cases per month.
We calculated the average using the available Pendency Reports during his tenure: August 28th – October 3rd 2018. Unfortunately, the Supreme Court is not consistent in its public disclosure of pendency rates. Data was available for the following months (as of September 14th 2018):
